Yes thats what I said, 6 months. He has been in office since what 2004? and guess what he has only logged 6 months. Does anyone know what he really stand for? Well lets look at his voting record to see what he REALLY stands for, oh wait can’t really do that because he only voted 46% of the time so we don’t really know what he really stands for only what he promises which as we all know isn’t a very promising thing. Oh also let me add when he did actually vote he voted like 98% democrat regardless of the issue so we got a completely 1 sided candidate with hardly any experience we just elected into office way to go America way to go. Putting aside all the racially charged bullshit and the Antichrist claims he really isn’t president worthy. I don’t even know if he’s VP worthy. At the very least he needs a few more years in some lower form of office. Well with his 46% voting ratio maybe 5 more years He voted more since he decided to run for president then he has his whole career. I’m not very political at all but this man dissapoints me in so many ways.  When I look at a candidate I find the best way to find out what they are really about and to really find out who they are you look at there past and there voting history. Voting history is probably the best tell all about a candidate. He doesn’t really have one so how do I make a decision? base it on what he promises? You all know as well as I do he probably might do half of what he says and based on his past participation probably less then that. I will not deny he is a vary charismatic man, he can talk like no other. Going by what I see on tv and other media sources shit ya I’d vote for him. FUCK YEAH he is the man and talked me right into that vote but unlike most people I dug deeper and checked out facts and wow.

I really hope I’m wrong and he revolutionizes this country but I doubt it. I really do. The president hardly ever does shit accept take the blame.

I do have one question for all you bush bashers though. Now that he’s not in office anymore who are you gonna bash now? Kinda sucks now don’t it that the only person you can bash now is the great obama. But just like bush I suspect he will be the enemy in the end. Just like bush right now everyone voted for obama but in 4 years you wont be able to find a soul who voted for him and he’ll be the next scape goat. If anything I feel sorry for obama. His career has only just started and its now peaked now the only direction is down.

Like I said I really hope I’m wrong but history is always the tell all and I doubt America has changed any or will change any in just 4 years.

Me and John have discussed a lot on a few occasions the readiness of Linux as a desktop and we of course have a difference in opinion. I think its almost there but he thinks otherwise. I will tell you that support wise for when something goes wrong its not ready. In fact its far from ready on that aspect which I suppose is a pretty important aspect. As a desktop when things work it is ready. It runs smooth and fast and has way better eye candy then even vista. If you could see the neat things I’m doing to this window when I’m not typing you would laugh

Besides the tricks I had to perform to get my old web cam to work and the lack of support for my shitty lexmark printer everything just worked. If booted up and about the only thing I had to do was click yes to enabled restricted drivers for my video card and restart. Same for my laptop and another PC I had. I think Ubuntu is pretty close to “mom and dad” ready when things work. Software updates are simple, a bit behind but thats because they wont update a repo on an item unless its tested to be working for sure.

Now let me tell you about the “Works For Me” part of this post. “Works For Me” is a fundamentally flawed concept. It has caused me some problems many times and more so recently with my exploration into manually compiling programs to newest versions. I will tell you that doing something based on someone saying “Works For Me” will probably get you into trouble more often then not. I have to say that in all my time as a human being that has got to be the worst phrase I have ever herd apart from “I can’t” which is also a bonehead phrase only lazy people use. Ok so too what really made me want to rant about “works for me”. I been watching the ubuntu irc chat a lot this past month you know being an active user of it and all and a lot of buzz about the next release 8.10(intrepid) which is still big time beta and I was talking to a few people and the consensus was “it works for me” so I being a dumbass and impatient fucker that I am I decided to not just try the live cd but jump on in and reload my computer with it and man what they said in the topic of the channel was correct. Lots of broken shit in it and I really didnt have time to try nd work around it so I ended up reloading 8.04(hardy) which is the stable release and reloading all my programs. SO after than the phrase “works for me” reallty eats a whole in my side and I just might kick your ass if you use it on me

OK, I don’t think I’ve mentioned NovaStream much at all on this blog but its been a long term project I’ve been helping with for years now and I sarted work on v3 of the website a few months ago and havent been able to work on much since. I started planning again and feel quite hyped about it.

The reason its such a big deal when I do this is because I’m not only really organized with my code I like to plan for future. PLUS the website involves every aspect of the stations inner workings. It works with the requests, the IRC bot and the song tracking. The new version takes that integreation to the next level so theres even more planning. Me and Cruise have been talking a lot the last week or so on what we want in the site and if anyone wants to add there 2 cents go ahead our ears are open. Just like v2 of the website we want to make it for the listeners so let us know.

I don’t consider this as a failure but merly a great learning experience and a new path. I think that I’ll make a rather great “production manager” a.k.a. fluffer and a very good sidekick This wonderful woman that mezmerizses so many people everytime she gets on cam I hope to spend the rest of my life with and find it great if we can make many other people as happy as we are.

I know this seems like one of those sad sappy goodbyes or some shit but its really not its more of a HELL YEAH WE FIGURED SOMETHING OUT type thing.

But thats not what this post is about. This post is about how sucky stickams reliability has become. I think that if livevideo.com’s lag wasnt so bad I’d pickup my posse and move to it. There players is so much better and the fact that the rooms are always open no matter if the host is there or not is awesome. It’s sad that laggy Stickam is less laggy then someone else. I think thats the only reason we arn’t already at livevideo. But its getting really rediculous. It’s now 3am and Stickam just got to where everyone could get into our rooms fine. Most of the night for HOURS people could only get in via the chat box on our profiles which is rediculous! Plus the rooms kept dropping and still some people couldnt get in. Not sure how we’re suposed to start doing shows when we cant even get rooms that are stable. Almost every night this week we had problems keeping rooms open.

The problems are so weird like you can try and join and room with 5 people in it and it will tell you there not live WTF? Or Channel error or some other shit or the rooms drop out randomly and sometimes what I’ve come to call them Quick Drops where you drop so fast and come back Stickam says WTF and says your on cam but also has th Click to Start video icon in front of your face and you have to leave completely to get back on cam. It’s such retarded problems they dont even care about. Watch when someone reports a problem with staying connected they’ll say dont worry we’re adding cooler buttons to your profile pages. They never address real issues untill it starts effecting there pockects I think. Anyways I’m done our rooms are working good now so its time to go have some fun!

I assume that was pretty much an automated reposons so I responded to them calling them on the bullshit and stating I could provide many witnesses that night that can vouch for my un-nakedness. While they can’t vouch for my saneness or manliness they can vouch that I never exposed my self or anyone else as they stated. I was however in a bikini top and bottoms but the bottoms where over my jeans so i see no harm in it what so ever. If having a bikini top on a man is to much skin why aren’t all shirtless men on Stickam banned? I’ve herd many stories of SCHEDULED dick measuring contests and naked parties and many other things. Might be that they are private or something but the point is I wasn’t nude or showing any parts of my body I shouldn’t.

The bad thing about this is every message me and my fiancee’s relationship was in that account! it’s all gone apparently. Which is crap. Theres a lot of juicy cyber sex logs on there… jk Anyways thought I would let everyone who doesn’t know know.
